The Trump administration just slashed disaster preparedness funding so I joined a coalition of 20 states to sue and stop them from illegally shutting down FEMA’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program.
Will you chip in $25 or more to my reelection campaign so I can keep protecting families from reckless cuts and dangerous federal overreach?

For decades, FEMA's BRIC funding has helped communities prepare for disasters before they strike, strengthening protections against hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other deadly threats. Over the last four years alone, nearly 2,000 projects nationwide were approved, directing $4.5 billion in life-saving resources to states.
We’ve all seen the devastation: deadly floods in New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas, and right here in Maryland. The evidence is clear: every dollar spent on disaster preparedness saves six dollars in recovery costs. More importantly, it saves lives.
Now, we’re taking the Trump administration to court to block these reckless cuts and restore critical funding for our communities.
If you believe we deserve real protection and resilient infrastructure, will you donate to my reelection campaign today?
