Dear Friend,
Minnesota has a fraud problem, and it begins and ends with Tim Walz’s failed policy agenda.

Since taking office in 2019, Tim Walz has overseen more than $661 million in fraud, including the largest COVID-19 scam in the country, Feeding Our Future. This is just what has been uncovered so far. According to Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota, Joe Thompson, the scope of the fraud that has occurred under Tim Walz could exceed $1 billion.
This is completely unacceptable.
For years, we have been working with our colleagues in the Minnesota Republican delegation to put an end to the seemingly endless stream of fraud happening in our state, and this week we continued that effort. Today, we led a letter to Governor Walz demanding answers regarding new allegations of fraud within the Minnesota Department of Human Services’ Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) program.
The HSS program was established in 2020 and is designed to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities in securing housing. The program has recently come under scrutiny after federal agents raided multiple homes and businesses as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of fraud in the program.
The HSS program was initially expected to cost Minnesota taxpayers $2.6 million per year. However, due to the alleged fraud in the program, total claims rose to $104 million in 2024 and have already exceeded $60 million in the first 7 months of 2025.
Minnesotans deserve answers, and we are going to get them. As more allegations of fraud continue to emerge in our state, rest assured that we will continue to demand answers and accountability for Minnesota taxpayers.
Sincerely,
