Barack In A Bind We are in the middle of a raging battle for the future of America. We will either be free people, or we will be manipulated servants of the Deep State. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard just lobbed a truth bomb into the middle of that battlefield, alleging that Barack Obama was key to the Russia/Trump collusion hoax. A spokesman for former President Obama responded to the charges, calling them “outrageous” and “bizarre” and a “ridiculous and weak attempt at distraction.” We already know that the Obama/Biden administration spied on Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign. They used FISA court warrants intended for monitoring terrorists to intercept communications from Carter Page and other Trump campaign staff. There are also serious allegations that the Obama administration used foreign intelligence agencies to spy on Trump. That is police state-level abuse of the law! Matt Taibbi, a former reporter for Rolling Stone (hardly a right-wing publication), is one of America’s leading investigative journalists. Taibbi says evidence is emerging that the Biden administration from January 2021 to January 2025 was engaged in the same abuse of power. If that bears out, we have all the necessary components of a continuing “grand conspiracy” to deny Donald Trump and his supporters of their constitutional rights. The always insightful Eric Metaxas warns that this erupting “Obamagate” scandal is “100 times worse than Watergate. Not twice or ten times worse. . . Educate yourself, America. And stay tuned.” Obama v. Gabbard When Barack Obama lashed out at Tulsi Gabbard and President Trump yesterday, Gabbard immediately shot back, saying she would be releasing more documents today. And she did. Gabbard just declassified and released a House Intelligence Committee report from September 2020 that evaluated the Obama-ordered Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on the 2016 election. Below are the key findings, and I have highlighted the most relevant parts. The House report makes it clear that the “ICA was subject to unusual directives from the President [Obama] and senior political appointees.” The ICA “was not properly coordinated within the Intelligence Community,” and it was “rushed in order to publish two weeks before President-elect Trump was sworn in.” As a result, “substandard” intelligence reports, like the Steele dossier, “became foundational sources for the ICA judgements that Putin preferred Trump over Clinton.” “The ICA misrepresented these reports as reliable” while it “ignored . . . reports that challenged—and in some cases undermined—judgments that Putin sought to elect Trump.” The House report states that two senior CIA officers warned, “We don’t have direct information that Putin wanted to get Trump elected.” The ICA omitted “critical context” that showed the idea of Putin favoring Trump “to be implausible—if not ridiculous.” Further undermining that ridiculous notion is the House Intelligence Committee’s conclusion that “the documents [Putin] leaked during the election were far less damaging to Secretary Clinton than those Putin chose not to leak.” (See next item.) Here’s the bottom line: The House Intelligence Committee determined that Obama ordered the intelligence community to produce an assessment that was complete garbage, based on nothing, and totally ridiculous. It is important to remember that the House Intelligence Committee in 2020 was controlled by Adam Schiff, who hid the report by keeping it classified. That’s why, nearly five years later, we’re just now hearing about this damning report. Hillary’s Health So, what exactly did Vladimir Putin know about Hillary that he chose to keep secret? It seems Hillary had some serious health issues. Russian intelligence obtained communications from the Democrat National Committee (DNC) indicating that “President Obama and party leaders found the state of Secretary Clinton’s health to be ‘extraordinarily alarming’ and felt it could have a ‘serious negative impact’ on her election prospects.” The DNC communications indicated that Hillary was “suffering from intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.” As a result, Hillary was being treated with “a daily regime of ‘heavy tranquilizers.’” In addition, Clinton had diabetes, heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and deep vein thrombosis. Evidently, the Left is used to hiding illnesses from the public. And, of course, no “journalist” could ever uncover the truth about Hillary’s health or Joe Biden’s health. Lock Him Up? I know what you’re feeling because I feel it, too. I would love to see Barack Obama sharing a jail cell with James Comey because we know how damaging his administration was. Yet, Obama still has a cult-like following that wields a lot of power. Many people think he was running the Biden administration from the shadows. But thinking about it some more, it could be very hard to prosecute him because of the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity decision. In addition, I fear it could turn him into the American equivalent of Nelson Mandela, a martyr of the Left—like the way the Left’s efforts to put Trump in jail only strengthened his support. What do you think? Trump’s Trade Deals President Trump scored three trade wins for the United States yesterday. After meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., the president announced that the Philippines agreed to drop all tariffs on U.S. goods, expand military cooperation, and imports from the Philippines to America would be subject to a 19% tariff, raising additional revenue for the United States. Later, President Trump met with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. Following their meeting, Trump announced that Indonesia would eliminate 99% of its trade barriers on U.S. industrial, high-tech, and agricultural products and had also agreed to major contracts worth tens of billions of dollars in trade. In addition, Indonesia will provide the United States with rare earth minerals, and Indonesian imports to the United States will be subject to a 19% tariff. President Trump saved the best for last. Yesterday evening, Trump announced the biggest U.S. trade deal ever with Japan. Japan is dramatically opening up its markets to U.S. products and will invest $550 billion in the United States, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs. Japan agreed to buy 100 Boeing planes, increase imports of U.S. rice by 75%, buy an additional $8 billion in agricultural products, and increase defense contracts with U.S. companies by at least $3 billion. U.S. tariffs on Japanese imports, currently at 25%, will be lowered to 15%. It wasn’t that long ago when the fake news media said Donald Trump was pushing our friends, especially those in Asia, toward communist China. Wrong again! This trade deal ties the United States and Japan more closely together. Donald Trump knows that every nation in the world wants access to our markets. While previous administrations didn’t want to risk offending anyone—enemies or allies—Trump is negotiating from a position of strength and putting America first. NY Nazi Watch Here’s a brief update on the advance of Nazism in America’s most iconic city, New York City. A new poll just came out on the Big Apple’s mayoral race. Here’s the breakdown: Socialist Zohran Mamdani 39% Independent Democrat Andrew Cuomo 21% Republican Curtis Sliwa 18% Independent incumbent Eric Adams 9% A video of Mamdani speaking to a socialist convention just emerged. He was introducing city council candidate Khader El-Yateem and said, “If you don’t clap for El-Yateem, you’re a Zionist!” A Zionist is a person who believes in a Jewish state for the Jewish people in their historical homeland of Israel. But just like the Islamic supremacists in Iran and other rabid antisemites, Mamdani is using “Zionist” as a curse. Meanwhile, Mahmoud Khail, one of the leaders of the antisemitic riots at Columbia University, was on CNN yesterday, and he repeatedly refused to condemn the evil butchers of Hamas. Democrat leaders are wetting themselves trying to figure out how to deal with Mamdani. But they had no hesitation about embracing Khail. They condemned Donald Trump for trying to deport him. Columbia University is finally taking action to punish 70 students who occupied the library in an explosion of antisemitic hate last year. Many of these radical students were expelled. But I see no indication that Columbia’s administration understands why this was the right thing to do. All they understand is that Donald Trump is going to take away their money if they don’t take steps to ensure their campus is free of Jew-hatred. Rapoport’s Revelation Actor, comedian, podcaster, and native New Yorker Michael Rapoport was a staunch liberal for many years. But he had a revelation after October 7, 2023. That’s when Rapoport, who is Jewish, realized that the Left hates Israel. He also went from hating Donald Trump to supporting Donald Trump. Rapoport wins the Gary Bauer Award for Creativity. He is now referring to Zohran Mamdani as “Zoron the Moron,” and he is urging his fellow New Yorkers to stay and fight for their city no matter how the mayoral election turns out.
