Minnesota is an incredible place to live — I’m so grateful to be from this state.
I truly love traveling all across the state, meeting the amazing people who make it so special. Recently, I had the privilege of marching in a parade at the Red Lake Nation, and it’s a moment I won’t forget.
As I was walking, a gentleman approached me, eager to take a picture. He shared a photograph with me — one of him standing proudly next to the late Senator Paul Wellstone. It was clear just how meaningful that encounter had been for him, and he wanted to capture another special moment, this time with me. I was honored. After we took our picture, he looked me straight in the eye and said, “Now I’ll have a picture with the next Senator from Minnesota.”
That comment really struck me. It embodies what this campaign is all about — showing up for Minnesotans, meeting folks where they are, and ensuring that everyone has the chance to connect directly with the people who work on their behalf in Washington. It's about being present every day, not just during the last 10 weeks of an election.
I'm committed to traveling to every pocket of the state because every person deserves to see their leaders in real life, fighting for them and listening to their stories, and most importantly, hearing how we can change their lives for the better.
