Friends,

Our nation has shamefully failed to act on the threat of gun violence for too long.

When I ran for office, I promised to advocate for common sense gun safety measures that make Nevada safer and keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them.

That’s why I’m proud to co-sponsor the Prevent Family Fire Act , a bill that incentivizes gun owners through tax credits to purchase safe gun storage devices.

But we need 100,000 signatures in order to help us pass this bill into law -- Can I count on you to sign your name right away? → [[link removed]]

PETITION TO CONGRESS: PASS SAFE STORAGE LAWS → [[link removed]]

“Family fire,” or shootings involving a gun that is improperly stored in the home, is a significant contributor to our country’s gun violence epidemic -- but it is also one of the most preventable forms of gun-related injuries or deaths.

Every day, 8 children are injured or killed by an unlocked or unsupervised gun in a home, but research shows that when gun owners use safe storage devices -- firearm fatalities from youth drop up to 32%.

With your help, we have the power to change our laws and save countless lives. Will you add your name to be one of the 100,000 signatures we need to help pass this critical bill? → [[link removed]]
