Dear John,
Recently, Congressional Repubolicans passed the massive, Trump-endorsed financial package they’re calling the “one big beautiful bill,” but its impacts here in Virginia [[link removed]] will be anything but beautiful.
The bill hits our state hard: redirecting tax dollars to private schools [[link removed]] and eliminating more than $600 billion in Medicaid coverage [[link removed]] for 300,000 Virginians [[link removed]] , leaving many without healthcare options and, with $26 billion projected in loses [[link removed]] , crippling Virginia hospitals. The impacts will be so enormous, we’re likely to have a special session of the General Assembly [[link removed]] to consider how to deal with them.
To fight back, I’ll need your help [[link removed]?] to keep my campaign for re-election running, because there’s a lot of damage control we need to do from the State Senate to keep things from getting worse.
