Oh boy, they got me.
I guess it’s better to get in front of this story and come clean—I am definitely a huge fan of Ilhan Omar. She has blazed a trail for women like me, overcoming blatant Islamophobia tossed at her at every turn to push people-first policies for her constituents in Congress.
Democrats like myself and Ilhan Omar drive MAGA crazy, not just because of our policies and religion, but also because we don’t take their nonsense. Other Democrats might shrink or cower when confronted by MAGA, but we fight back.
That is why I fully expect MAGA billionaires to get involved in this race to prop up one of my “moderate” opponents to try and stop me from becoming the Democratic nominee—just like they tried to prop up fake Democrat and serial abuser, Andrew Cuomo, in the primary against Zohran Mamdani:
