Every year we like to conduct a survey of our readers, to inform our reporting and establish a better understanding of where the MAGA mind stands on a swathe of issues.

Sometimes this takes the form of a multiple choice survey, but this year I opted to leave it more "open" so that people could express themselves in their own words in whole paragraphs rather than finding themselves shoe-horned in to some clumsy catch-all. 

Already, the results from the survey are being shared around Washington, D.C., and already I've heard from administration and Hill staffers asking for more detail on what the base wants.

This is great news, and music to my ears. 

Because for years we really have tried to keep our finger on the pulse (ha!), via speaking to our members on phone calls, through Discord, at in person events around the country, and as many of you now know, when MAGA makes their pilgrimage to Butterworth's in Washington, D.C. 

As a result, we find ourselves on the people's side of the issues more often than almost any other news outlet out there. I'm particularly proud of that, and feel blessed that so many of you trust us as your source of information (and now, indeed, libation). 

Which brings me to two conclusive points on today's e-mail:
