Hi John,
We’re heading to New Orleans this August for Netroots Nation [[link removed]] , and we’re looking forward to being in community with many of you. Netroots is the largest annual convening of progressive organizers, activists, media makers, and movement leaders from across the country. In a time when gathering with intention is more necessary than ever, re:power will be present. We’ll be hosting panels, connecting at our booth, and holding space for reflection, learning, and connection. We hope you’ll join us to share what you’re building, hear what we’re up to, and explore how we can move forward together.
VIRTUAL PANEL Technology can be a tool of oppression or a tool for liberation. Join re:power’s Movement Technology Director Lee Anderson as they explore why tech incubator spaces that center gender non-conforming BIPOC folks are essential for the future of organizing. If we want liberation, we need tech built by and for our communities.

PANEL Join re:power’s Electoral Justice Director, Mercedes Fulbright, for a timely conversation on the critical role of state courts in defending our rights. As federal protections continue to erode, state high courts hold unique power to interpret their constitutions in ways that safeguard and expand our freedoms. This panel will explore how we can influence these courts to ensure justices are committed to protecting the rights our communities need and deserve.
