Immigration reform will only work when it is done with civility, humanity, and reason. Trump's raids don’t just target undocumented individuals, they are traumatizing entire communities. Children are afraid that their parents could be taken at any moment. People are hesitant to report crimes and seek medical help out of fear of our law enforcement.

Taxpayer dollars should go towards humane border solutions, not militarized raids that serve more as political theater than anything else.

I’m running for re-election because our communities deserve to feel safe. As the daughter of immigrants I can only imagine what children are feeling when they see this stuff on the news.

I’m ready to fight, but first I need to win. Can I count on your support?
