ZOA has just launched its campaign calling for Israeli sovereignty to be extended over Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley. You may have seen ZOA’s announcement yesterday regarding the campaign launch which you can read here.
We believe that this is one of the most important and time-sensitive issues facing the Jewish State. Despite what appeared to be the U.S. Administration’s initial endorsement of this move, it is far from certain that it will now happen. Conflicting signals emanating from the White House, pressure from the EU, UN and Arab countries, as well as silence or outright opposition on the part of most American Jewish groups has caused both Netanyahu and President Trump to hesitate.
We cannot let this happen! ZOA’s multi-pronged effort is aimed at educating the American public, convincing Members of Congress to publicly support the move, and providing support to both the U.S. Administration and the Israeli government to take this step forward. As part of the campaign, ZOA has created a series of Sovereignty Now ads scheduled to appear in major U.S. publications, on social media and on billboards. See the image below from the recently erected billboards on the side of the Jerusalem Gardens Hotel, not far from the Knesset and Israeli government offices. These billboards will be in place through July 1.

The cost of conducting this campaign is high but we feel that the cost of not conducting the campaign could be even higher.
