Coming Soon: Oppose Health and Social Services Restrictions

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently issued an eligibility reinterpretation that makes millions in immigrant families ineligible for care at community health centers, as well as mental health and substance abuse care and other public health services. The same notice makes children in immigrant families ineligible for Head Start, child maltreatment prevention, and other HHS social services. Next week, PIF will soon share an organizational sign-on comment inviting partners to raise their voices in opposing this attack on the health and wellbeing of immigrant families. Meanwhile, the link below provides more details about the HHS notice.
