Here at #TeamCori, we’ve been up all night watching the election results roll in. We don’t have all the info yet, but we do know that last night was a MAJOR turning point for our movement! 


Our friends Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez & Jamaal Bowman BOTH won their New York districts in landslide victories. That’s not just a win for the nation—it’s a win especially for candidates like Cori who are running in districts that are chronically underserved, underfunded, and underestimated.


More clearly than ever, we are seeing that our communities will not stand for complacent, career politicians. For decades, American politics has been defined by who has the most money to buy elections. But progressive campaigns are winning because we have something they don’t—people power. 


We know that we too have the skills, strategy, & drive to pull off a victory for Cori here in St. Louis. But we can’t rest on the laurels of our friends either. With just SIX WEEKS to go, every moment counts for our campaign. If we want to send Cori to Congress with AOC and Jamaal, then we need all the support we can get.
