Without notice, Trump’s Department of Education illegally froze $6.8 BILLION in grants for school programs — including after-school activities, teacher training, and programs for students learning English — just hours before the funding was set to disburse, leaving school districts across the country scrambling to update their budget plans before schools reopen in the Fall.
