Hello Texas Values Supporters!

As we told you a couple of weeks ago, Governor Greg Abbott added “Protect Women Spaces” to the Special Session Call. This means we have another chance at making sure that men no longer have access to women’s sex separated, private spaces like locker rooms, showers, prisons, and women’s shelters.

But we only have 30 days!

Please contact Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows and let him know that you want to see the Texas Women’s Privacy Act pass. Kindly tell him any personal story you have that explains why clear, concise laws protecting sex-separated spaces is important to you. Also, politely imply that we need the best strategy (including the movement of the bill in the House committee process) to help Texas successfully protect women and girls in their spaces.

Please also email your Texas Senator and Texas House member and tell them to support the Texas Women’s Privacy Act. Let them know that you want The Texas Women’s Privacy Act to pass in this session and that you expect them to work hard to see that the bill passes.

(If you live in Representative Valoree Swanson’s district be sure to thank her for filing House Bill 32 last week, The Texas Women’s Privacy Act for the Special Session)
