Hi friend,

What happened in Sacramento was not law enforcement—it was intimidation.

Federal agents showed up unannounced and masked, and violently abducted our neighbors. This wasn’t about keeping communities safe. It was about spreading fear, chaos, and distrust.

Let me be clear: this was a calculated act of cruelty. It violated people’s rights, trampled their dignity, and tore families apart. And it is exactly what Trump wants—an atmosphere of fear, where immigrant communities feel unsafe and unwelcome.

I won’t let that happen. Not here. Not in Sacramento. Not in the United States of America.

We are united in defense of our immigrant families. And we will not back down in the face of authoritarianism.

I am working closely with community leaders and immigrant rights advocates to ensure families know their rights, have access to legal protections, and can feel safe in their own homes. But I also need your help to keep fighting back in Washington.

Will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to help me continue this fight—and defend the values that make Sacramento strong?

When we stand together, we are stronger than fear. Thank you for being part of this fight.
