We need YOU (yes, YOU!) to represent moms across the nation this Saturday in DC! 

There are more than 84 million moms in America and very few live close enough to the U.S. Capitol to be there in-person to raise the contributions and needs—like healthcare and childcare—of moms and families. But YOU are someone who might be able to do this!!

This Saturday, July 26th, MomsRising is joining with families in Washington DC (and also in every corner of the country) to come together and say: Our families come first, and we will continue to come together, and rise for each other, for healthcare, for childcare, and more. In Washington, DC, we will have face painters, protest signs for coloring, and games for parents and kids! When you RSVP, we’ll share even more details, including where to meet-up in DC!

Please come and help represent moms across the nation who can’t be in DC.

Join us for the Families First event in Washington DC event to show that moms across the nation are rising for our families' healthcare, childcare, SNAP, and futures.

What’s happening? The Big Bad Betrayal Bill that Republicans passed in Congress and President Trump signed into law will lead to 17 million people losing health insurance and needless suffering, hunger, and higher costs for many of our families and communities. THIS IS NOT OK!

So we're gathering peacefully in all 50 states and Washington, DC. against the cruel choice to trade our health, safety, and basic needs to make the rich richer. We're going to make sure every one of our friends and neighbors hears about the historic betrayal of everyday families in America—and how Republican leadership in Congress and the White House chose cuts to programs we all need to fund cruel attacks on immigrants and more tax breaks for the rich, undermining the health and safety of all of our families.

People everywhere, in groups of all sizes—from 2 to 200 or more—are meeting up in peaceful marches, rallies, and actions to say: The families of America are watching, and will continue to stand strong for our families, our communities, our economy, and our country.

This is a peaceful, nationwide mobilization organized by a coalition of unions, advocacy groups, faith leaders, and families committed to protecting democracy, dignity, and care. All events are grounded in nonviolence, community safety, and strategic protest.
