What’s 1000 Strong for Public Education? It’s a structured way to make a difference for Arizona’s public school students every single month. As our fabulous Board Chair recently said, “If everyone in our network gave $5-10 a month, we’d be able to fund all of our organizers, presentations, and programs without ever begging anyone again!” 😂 And it’s true.
Knowing that we can keep the lights on and fund our incredible organizers and programs means the world to us. It gives us peace of mind — but it also allows us to focus on the truly dizzying and daunting work of advocating at the state and federal level for public education, sharing data locally and nationally about the dangers of vouchers, presenting to folks across the state, engaging parents, registering voters, and SO MUCH MORE!
