National Domestic Workers Alliance

============================

From Seattle to D.C., Pueblo to Savannah, our Families First coalition is standing up events nationwide to show Congress that our movement won’t stop fighting for healthcare, care workers, and our communities.

This Saturday, July 26th will be a 50-state mobilization in response to our lawmakers cutting Medicaid to fund billionaire tax cuts. We will come together to build our massive multi-racial, multigenerational movement and ensure every family and care worker impacted by these cuts has a chance to make our voices heard.

Can you join a Families First mobilization near you? We’re adding events every day and need a giant turnout to show Congress that we won’t stop fighting for Medicaid and for our community. We hope you’ll bring your whole family! [[link removed]]

We’re fighting for a country where our loved ones can get care, where domestic workers so many families rely on have good jobs with dignity, where no child goes hungry at school, and where elected leaders actually protect the people they serve.

Our Families First mobilizations are a direct response to Medicaid cuts, because domestic workers and our allies will not give up. We won’t stop making our voices heard!

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
