A new Pew report confirms what we all see every day: crumbling roads, decaying bridges, and zero accountability from Olympia. We’re facing a $1.4 billion shortfall just to maintain existing infrastructure. One bridge had to be shut down entirely, forcing people to drive an extra hour just to get around.

Democrats’ brilliant solution? Raise the gas tax again — pulling another $1.4 billion from taxpayers. Meanwhile, drivers are still dodging potholes, and critical projects like the “Revive I-5” repairs are shutting down freeways on summer weekends because they’ve been neglected for decades.

Olympia doesn’t have a revenue problem. It has a mismanagement problem.
