Two Chinese nationals were CAUGHT trying to smuggle dangerous crop pathogens into the United States—right through our student visa system.

 

And here's what should hit close to home:

 

These kinds of pathogens thrive in places like Michigan.

 

Our farmers. Our food. Our families. All at risk.

 

And what did they say when they were caught?

 

“It’s for research.”

 

We’ve heard that excuse before.

 

Let me be clear:

👉 Cause MASSIVE food shortages

👉 And CRIPPLE our economy from the inside

 

This is an act of infiltration—and it’s just the beginning.

 

We cannot keep turning a blind eye while the Chinese Communist Party uses our visa programs to sneak in operatives under the guise of education or research.

 

I’m demanding action in Congress:

✅ Review all student visas from hostile foreign governments

✅ Audit every foreign-linked research project on U.S. soil

✅ Pass tough biosecurity legislation before it’s too late
