We'll miss you Melissa!

It is with bittersweet feelings to share with you that our incredible Program Director, Melissa Aguayo is resigning from her position at 5 Gyres. Melissa has been an unbelievable leader for our organization for since 2018 and her work to serve our mission is unparalleled. She is a powerful force and has been an engine to our work with policy, Trashblitz, our ambassadors, Trash Academy and so much more!

Melissa will be taking on a new role as the Membership Engagement Officer for Break Free From Plastic in which I know she will do wonderful things. We look forward to continuing our relationship with her and we all wish her well on her next journey. Thanks so much Melissa for everything you have done for 5 Gyres, our community, and our movement. You will be missed!
