Let’s be honest: Congress isn’t working the way it should.

Too many politicians are more interested in partisan stunts than in solving problems. People are frustrated, and they should be. Prices are too high, the immigration system is broken, and too few are willing to sit down and do the hard work to fix it.

That’s why I came back to Congress. And it’s why I’m running for reelection.

I believe in common sense. That means lowering the cost of living, pushing for bipartisan immigration reform, and standing up to reckless policies like these new tariffs and healthcare cuts that are hurting small businesses and families in our district.

I’m one of just 13 Democrats representing a district that President Trump also won. Republicans have already made me a top target, and the attacks are coming. But I’ve never backed down from a tough fight — and I won’t start now.
