Donald Trump is threatening to take over New York:

“We have tremendous power at the White House to run places when we have to.” 

He’s attempting to overreach his power and become a king. But let me be very clear: New York hasn’t labored under a king in over 250 years. And we sure as hell aren’t going to start now.

The will of the people — not the whims of any one person — determines our future. That’s what democracy is all about. And as Governor, I will always defend that principle with everything I’ve got.
