Voting is a fundamental right. Unfortunately, millions of Americans may be forced to choose between giving up their right to vote or putting their health at risk.

Unlike Pennsylvanians, voters in some states are required to provide a note from a doctor in order to vote by mail. Some may not even have that option. Millions of votes may never be cast in one of the most important elections of our lives.

Bob Casey is taking action to make sure that doesn't happen. As a co-sponsor of the Natural Disaster and Emergency Ballot Act of 2020, Bob's working to ensure that every voter has access to early voting in-person and vote by mail. Now we need to build a groundswell of public support before it's too late.

Critical Senate races across the country will likely be decided only by a point or two on Election Day. In the presidential election, it's too early to tell what the map will look like in November.

This election could be decided not only by who votes but by who is prevented from voting by the pandemic and overly restrictive voting laws.

We shouldn't wake up the morning after the election wondering why we didn't do more to help our vulnerable friends, family, and neighbors exercise their right to vote. We need to build support for a nationwide vote-by-mail plan now.
