The New York Times put out a report that, “Kamala Harris is emerging as the front-runner to be Joe Biden’s running mate for one reason above all others: She is the only female African-American possibility who has the political experience typical of vice presidents.”
Harris has said she’d be “honored” to join. But she could be a controversial choice -- especially after her tough talk with Biden on the debate stage. She’s also been the subject of Trump’s ire when he took relish in mocking Harris on Twitter after she suspended her presidential campaign.
