As a dad raising two kids here in North Carolina, I think a lot about their future and what kind of country we’re leaving behind.

That’s why I’m so concerned about the bill that MAGA Republicans and Donald Trump rammed through Congress.

They’re calling it a “Big Beautiful Bill.” But let’s be honest: there’s nothing beautiful about a bill that will raise health care costs, hike energy bills, shut down rural hospitals, and gut good-paying jobs — especially here in North Carolina.

[link removed] [[link removed]]This isn’t how you help working people. It’s how you make life harder for folks who are already doing everything they can to get by.

This bill is a step backwards for our economy and our health, plain and simple.

I went to Congress to fight for everyday people, not corporate interests or political stunts. I’m here for families who want a fair shot, strong schools, decent wages, and health care that’s actually close to home.

That’s what I’m focused on. But I need to hear from you:
