Americans across party lines are demanding the release of the Jeffrey Epstein Files.
But House Republicans refuse to release them.
We therefore urge Democrats to conduct their own investigation of EpsteinGate.
The Epstein Files are important for many reasons:
1. Epstein raped and trafficked dozens of teenage girls to powerful men – but none of them were ever prosecuted.
2. Epstein was arrested in 2006 but given a ridiculously light sentence by a prosecutor who later became Trump’s Secretary of Labor.
3. Despite an extensive FBI investigation, Epstein was granted immunity from all federal crimes along with his co-conspirators, abruptly ending the investigation and preventing prosecution of sex traffickers.
4. As a convicted sex offender, Epstein was required to report to NYPD every 90 days – but never did.
5. Epstein resumed trafficking until he was finally arrested in 2019.
6. Epstein died a month later in federal prison under mysterious circumstances.
7. Trump – while still President and in charge of federal prisons - repeatedly tried to blame Bill Clinton for Epstein’s death.
8. Four years later, while campaigning again for President, Trump promised to release the Epstein Files.
9. After inauguration, Trump appointed two Epstein-obsessed MAGA activists to lead the FBI: Kash Patel and Dan Bongino.
10. In February, Trump’s attorney general Pam Bondi told FOX the Epstein Files were “on her desk.”
11. Bondi summoned MAGA influencers to DOJ for a p/r stunt to give them Epstein File “Phase 1” binders.
12. On July 7, DOJ and FBI suddenly and mysteriously declared there were no Epstein Files.
13. When MAGA denounced the coverup, Trump declared the Epstein Files a SCAM and a HOAX invented by Democrats.
14. When the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump gave Epstein a "bawdy" card for his 50th birthday, Trump sued the Journal for $10 billion.
What exactly is Trump covering up? Is he protecting his rich and powerful friends – or is he protecting himself?
Epstein said he was Trump’s closest friend for 10 years. There are dozens of photos and videos of Trump and Epstein laughing, partying, and leering at young women. Trump first had sex with Melania on Epstein's plane.
Trump’s coverup goes to the heart of Trump’s bond with MAGA – that he would expose child sex trafficking by the rich and powerful, not cover it up to protect his friends – or even himself.
MAGA isn’t buying Trump’s coverup. So Trump is now attacking MAGA.
All Americans across party lines deserve to know what’s in the Epstein Files – and exactly what Trump is covering up.
We urge Democrats to conduct their own investigation of EpsteinGate.
