Earlier this year, the DNC announced our goal to host a People’s Town Hall in every single state nationwide. In the aftermath of disastrous policy choices from Trump and his Republican allies, we’ve seen Republicans outright refuse to talk to their constituents, so we decided to do it for them.

We’ve spent the last four months making sure that folks have an outlet to voice their concerns about the government that is meant to represent them. Democratic voices — including Sen. Cory Booker, Gov. Tim Walz, Sen. Elizabeth Warren — and so many more, have joined us to talk to communities across the country. Red, blue, or purple, we believe everyone deserves a government that listens to their voices and represents them.

And we just hosted a People’s Town Hall in our 50th state. In just about four months, we’ve hosted over 130 of these town halls across the country to reach folks everywhere, no matter who they voted for last year. And we’re not slowing down — if anything, hitting this milestone has only motivated us to keep pushing.

We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again: If Republicans aren’t willing to show up for their own voters, we’ll do it for them.
