We must fight to ensure everyone has access to healthy meals.

John,

In the months since the COVID-19 pandemic struck, we are seeing an unprecedented surge in Americans going without enough food. In the wealthiest country of the history of the world, that is simply unacceptable.

We are helping to build a broad coalition of partners across the country to demand Congress act during this critical time of need to increase SNAP and child nutrition assistance benefits.

Your help today will allow us to launch a campaign this week to demand the Senate immediately pass legislation to fight food insecurity throughout the U.S. If you can, donate $5 or more to CHN to demand Congress act.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately:

Black and brown communities throughout the United States are several times as likely to face an even greater need: 23.5 percent of Black households with children said they "sometimes or often" did not have enough food to eat during the past week; 18.4 percent of Latinx people said the same; compared to 9 percent of white people.

People in the U.S., regardless of income, must be able to eat. It is that simple. And we are going to make sure Congress hears that message.

Power CHN’s efforts to build a strong national coalition to prevent millions of Americans from losing access to healthy foods during a pandemic. Donate $5 or more today.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a daunting series of challenges for our country: not only are people facing a national public health emergency, but parents can't afford to feed their families as the economy hemorrhages millions of jobs.

Every day, CHN is fighting on behalf of struggling families, the poor, and vulnerable. Our work takes on increasing urgency every week the pandemic continues.

But we couldn't succeed without a broad network or supporters. Thank you for your support during this challenging time,
