Many of the BHS workers experienced severe financial consequences, including lost homes, health insurance, and financial stability. One was dismissed after experiencing adverse effects from initial vaccination. All were denied unemployment benefits when BHS classified their separations as "deliberate misconduct" and violations of "uniformly enforced policy."
The BHS firings occurred when breakthrough infections among vaccinated individuals were also being documented.
