Friends,

Our brave servicemembers and Veterans deserve to have someone looking out for their interests in Washington. And I strive to always use my position in the Senate to do just that.

That’s why when our “toddler-in-chief” insults Gold Star families or threatens to deploy active-duty troops to intimidate peaceful protestors, you’ll see me speaking out.

And it’s why I introduced a bill to ensure that only our nation’s Veterans and eligible family members can be buried at Arlington Cemetery — which excludes Donald Trump, who wants to change the rules so he can be buried there, despite not having earned his place in our nation’s most hallowed ground by serving in the military.

But if I’m going to stay in the Senate to keep up this important work on behalf of our troops and Veterans, I’ll need to win my reelection campaign — and that requires hitting important fundraising goals along the way. That’s why I have to ask:
