Days after CMU whitewashed The Fence — a hub of campus free speech — ahead of President Trump’s visit, 10 students worked in the dead of night to counter what they perceive as undue censorship from the administration ([link removed]) .

Public Source photojournalist Stephanie Strasburg was on the scene ([link removed]) while most of Pittsburgh slept.

The 10 students hammered together a new wooden fence in front of the president’s office around midnight, painted it white and covered it with a selection of slogans that have covered the original fence over the years ([link removed]) .
