Pro-life advocates, through their work in Missouri Right to Life, have in the past few years supported the passage of historic laws for the protection of innocent human life. Due to the concerns for the many women physically injured in unsafe abortion clinics here in Missouri, (over 75 in the last 11 years), these protective laws have virtually shut down the abortion business in Missouri. And these figures do not begin to address the psychological, emotional and spiritual damage being done to these women. While we are grateful for this critical legislation, there is still much to be done through the legislative process to protect women from the abortion industry and save unborn babies.
