City of Vero Beach Residents,

Vero Beach City Council Member Linda Moore is facing targeted attacks – which were factually incorrect - from Moms for Liberty over events held at her privately owned business.

These efforts to demand her resignation are not only politically motivated, but they also threaten to set a dangerous precedent that elected officials can be punished for lawful, expressive choices made outside their official duties. Linda Moore has consistently advocated for downtown revitalization and environmental health, including restoration of the Indian River Lagoon. Her commitment to inclusive community values is clear, and she continues to represent the people of Vero Beach with integrity. We must not allow fearmongering to silence public servants
The upcoming City Council meeting is being used to amplify misinformation and stigmatize LGBTQ+ expression. Hosting Drag performers, who are artists, not inherently adult entertainers, is not grounds for removal from office.
Join us on July 22, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Vero Beach City Council (1053 20th Place) to show that our community stands for free speech, artistic expression, and fair representation.

What to Know:
● Arrive by 9:30AM, signing up to speak is not necessary
● Each attendee will have 3 minutes to address the Council

Let’s make it clear: we do not support censorship, intimidation, or the erasure of diverse voices in our city. Linda Moore deserves our support, not condemnation; for standing by her values and her community.
