VPAP has maps ([link removed]) showing the extent that voters in Tuesday's primary elections sought the safety of early voting -- much of it by mail -- amid the coronavirus pandemic. Statewide, 10% of voters in the Republican U.S. Senate primary cast absentee ballots. The rate was higher for Democrats, ranging from a low of 24% in CD-4 to a high of 56% in CD-11.
