The Trump administration just proposed a rule that would gut critical housing protections designed to fight segregation and discrimination, and we’re taking action to stop it.

The rule would eliminate long-standing fair housing marketing regulations that make sure federally assisted housing is accessible to communities that have historically been excluded, particularly Black and brown families.

It’s illegal. It’s discriminatory. And it’s a direct attack on families who already face rising rents, limited supply, and historic barriers to housing access.

That’s why I‘m co-leading a multistate coalition to oppose this dangerous rollback, because fair housing is not a suggestion. It’s a civil right. I won’t stand by while those rights are stripped away.
