For years, Virginia has been consistently ranked as one of the best states in the country for doing business.
That’s because administrations of both parties respected the expertise of non-partisan, career civil servants who lived and worked in Virginia, and left politics out of our colleges and universities.
But Donald Trump and Glenn Youngkin have changed all that.
From indiscriminate DOGE cuts that have decimated our federal workforce, to the politicization of higher education, to freezes in federal funding for critical programs nationwide, Trump’s policies have hit Virginia hard.
That’s why it’s so important that we have leadership here in Virginia that will stand up to Donald Trump, fight for our state’s future, and defend what has always made Virginia great.
