While Donald Trump and Republicans are focused on cutting taxes for the wealthy and big corporations, Upstate New Yorkers are left to pay the cost.

This is exactly why I voted against the GOP’s One Big Beautiful Scam, and why I brought forward an amendment that would’ve protected rural hospitals from Medicaid cuts. Republicans blocked it. Now, rural hospitals that were already at the brink of closing will lose vital funding, and Upstate New Yorkers won’t be able to access the care they need.
