Fellow American, this isn't the first time I've run for something...
In 1984, I ran for and won the title of Miss Venezuela. It was a moment that changed my life and set me on a path of service and leadership.
Never in a hundred years could I have imagined that I would be running for Congress.
It was never in my plans.
After finishing my term as Miss Venezuela, I legally immigrated to America. I continued to build on my career as a broadcaster and journalist.
In fact, here's a picture of my covering the morning news:
I became involved in my community, became a business owner, and a successful real estate broker.
And, I even started my own line of hair products!
When I say I NEVER imagined myself running for office - I mean it.
I'm not a politican.
I'm a mother, a community leader, and a passionate defender of America First values.
I'm running for Congress because the America First Agenda is at risk.
Republicans hold the House by the SLIMMEST majority in nearly 100 years and my election isn't next year - it's this year.
That means my race could mean the difference between continuing the America First agenda or bringing it to a complete HALT.
I'm asking, because I'm ready to fight alongside President Trump for hope, opportunity, and freedom: can I count on your endorsement?
I need to know if I have the support of grassroots patriots like you.
