FIRST: Trump and Republicans in Congress cooked up a scheme to auction off vast swathes of public land — including MILLIONS of acres here in Colorado — to offset the cost of their massive tax handouts to the ultra-wealthy.

THEN: John and his Democratic colleagues in the Senate fought hard — and succeeded — in stripping provisions to sell off public lands from the GOP budget before Republicans greenlit the bill for Trump’s signature.

NOW: GOP Senator Mike Lee said he’ll resurrect this failed scheme, and try to ram a bill to privatize our public lands through the Senate AGAIN.

We can’t let that happen.
