I officially have a Republican opponent in this race. Not only did they declare their intention to flip this seat right back to red, they entered the race with a wholehearted endorsement from Mike Garcia.

If you were by my side during the last election cycle, that name will ring a bell. Mike Garcia was the MAGA Republican I defeated back in November in one of the most competitive races in the nation.

The national GOP has been scheming to take back this seat ever since, especially now that only three seats separate House control.
