story.
I’m the son of Dominican and Ecuadorian immigrants who served in the U.S.
Army and built a life for our family from scratch. We moved to Hialeah
when I was five - and I’ve been fighting for this community ever since.
As a prosecutor, I held violent criminals accountable and exposed the
January 6 insurrectionists who attacked our democracy. But when Donald
Trump pardoned those same criminals - including cop killers and child
predators - I knew my work wasn’t done.
