John,
The Rwandan government has initiated a crackdown on Christian churches – closing 10,000 houses of worship, displacing believers.
Amid rising Islamic violence across Africa and the Middle East, church doors must remain open. In the Congo, Christians are beheaded for having a Christian name. In Nigeria, 40 gunmen massacred 200 believers while chanting "Allahu Akbar." In Syria, a community grieves 25 Christians after a horrific church bombing.
Rwanda must allow churches to remain open and protect the fundamental right of Christians to practice their faith and not suppress it. The Church MUST BE PROTECTED.
Last week, we filed 13 written submissions to the U.N. Human Rights Council on Christian persecution and human rights, including Rwanda's abusive tactics to shutter churches. Our filings will shine a light on countries that are persecuting Christians with death and violence and those suppressing religious liberty.
God has called us to defend Christians whether they are on death row, being massacred for their faith, or having their churches shuttered. But to continue this vital work, it requires resources. Have your Tax-Deductible gift doubled TODAY through our Justice Drive: $5 becomes $10; $20 becomes $40.
