At the end of June, our campaign wrapped up its first fundraising quarter. Having launched on June 2nd what we were able to accomplish in less than one month shows that my campaign has serious momentum.

Now it is clear for all to see:



Despite being outspent 42 to 1 by one of my opponents alone, nearly two thousand grassroots supporters from IL-9 and across the country came together to build this movement—all in less than a month.

And the press is taking notice with Chicago’s The Daily Herald listing our campaign among the frontrunners in a race with 16 candidates:

Because of supporters like you, we’ve gone from underdog to frontrunner. Our people-first agenda is catching fire in IL-9—Medicare for All, canceling student debt, affordable housing, and more. This movement is real, and it’s growing.
