It’s been a while since we last heard from you. That's why I’m reaching out because right now, kids across the nation really need your voice.
With the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) under constant threat, everyone who cares about ending hunger has to speak out.
Long before Ivy was named our Student Advocate of the Year, she was a young girl growing up in rural Texas. Without SNAP, she says her family would’ve survived on little more than rice and sour cream.
“[SNAP] ensured I was taken care of when my parents couldn’t,” Ivy shared.
John, SNAP helps 41 million families afford food. But grocery costs have surged 25% since 2020, while the average SNAP benefit is just $6.20 per person per day.
If Congress cuts SNAP funding, daily benefits could drop as low as $4.80... and millions could lose them altogether.
In Ivy's words, “We live in a system that’s designed to fail people like me. It’s time we changed that.”
Kids need your voice and your compassionate support. Your donation will help hold lawmakers – from the White House to state houses – accountable to children’s needs. Please donate today – even $5 can make a difference!
