As Project HOPE’s Deputy Director of Emergency Preparedness and Response, it’s my job to ensure our teams are ready to respond the moment a disaster strikes — but we can’t do it without support from generous people like you.
In Los Angeles, our teams are still on the ground providing mental health care, medical support, and essential supplies to help families heal. But as we mark this six-month milestone, we’re also facing the start of what’s predicted to be an above-average hurricane season — and it’s already active, with three named storms forming in just the first few weeks.
