John, this is
incredible. We won!!

First, I want to thank you for everything you did that helped lead to our
victory in New York’s 16th District. Together, we defeated one of the most
entrenched members of Congress who had the backing of the entire
Democratic establishment.

Justice Democrats was there for my campaign from the very beginning. From
helping me with grassroots fundraising to scaling our organizing program,
we wouldn’t be where we are today without JD.

From day one, the political establishment and pundits didn’t think our
campaign even had a shot. They counted us out because we didn’t have
millions of cash on hand and thought that it would be impossible to defeat
a 31-year incumbent.

We proved that grassroots campaigns, rooted in progressive power, can beat
the corporate wing of the Democratic Party. We had volunteers and
organizers from every part of NY-16 who got out the vote and spread our
campaign’s message far and wide.

Our movement was rooted in fighting for policies that are as bold as the
many crises we face. There will never be true “liberty and justice for
all“ until we have quality health care, housing, education, and a livable
planet for every person.

Justice Democrats is working every day to reshape the Democratic Party and
make it represent people who are all too often ignored by the system and
left behind.

This movement is sending someone who was a victim of police brutality at
11 years old to Congress.
