Friend,

It's been six months since historic wildfires devastated communities across Los Angeles and changed life forever in places like Altadena, Malibu, and Palisades. Children and families are still processing the trauma and other impacts following the catastrophic fires.

As Project HOPE's Deputy Director of Emergency Preparedness and Response, it's my job to ensure our teams are ready to respond the moment a disaster strikes - but we can't do it without support from generous people like you.

In Los Angeles, our teams are still on the ground providing mental health care, medical support, and essential supplies to help families heal. But as we mark this six-month milestone, we're also facing the start of what's predicted to be an above-average hurricane season - and it's already active, with three named storms forming in just the first few weeks.

We just checked our records and we're still missing your donation toward our $50,000 goal to help meet the ongoing response needs in Los Angeles and support our global mission to deliver urgent relief where it's needed most:

P.S. As the end of summer approaches, the risk of wildfires reaches its peak due to the increasingly dry and hot conditions. Your donation today will help support Project HOPE's emergency response efforts in the wake of disasters like the historic LA wildfires in addition to supporting our mission to deliver urgent relief with lasting impact wherever the need is greatest.
