** JULY 20
------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to this week’s edition of the HYR newsletter, !

In Washington, the Biden administration is under renewed legal scrutiny. The White House continued to slash federal bureaucracy and illegal aliens from taxpayer funded programs.

In Texas, the state legislature has a formal agenda for Gov. Abbott’s special session.

Our July General Meeting features Andy Kahan, Director of Victim Services & Advocacy at Crime Stoppers Houston. Andy has spent decades on the front lines of victim advocacy & legislation, and he’ll share valuable insights into his work! Click here to RSVP. ([link removed])

We break it down below.

** Autopen Abuse: Pardons, Presidential Powers, and Pandora’s Box
------------------------------------------------------------

An explosive NY Times piece ([link removed]) (they finally remembered investigative journalism exists) detailing the Biden Administration’s protocols for invoking the Presidential power of the pen opened a massive can of worms; every document bearing President Biden’s signature is suddenly suspect.

Presidential pardons are supposed to be individually deliberated upon and authorized by the Commander in Chief, not carried out under arbitrary framework and delegated directives to senior White House staffers. If Sen. Ted Cruz’s legal interpretation ([link removed]) (an Ivy League educated lawyer and decorated litigator) holds water, every pardon Joe Biden issued is on shaky ground.

This begs many questions, a few which are top of mind:
* How often was President Biden’s signature misappropriated, and what for?
* Does the abuse of his signature and authority implicate the Supreme Court ([link removed]) ?
* Was Dr. Fauci’slast-minute pardon ([link removed]) legitimate? (Sen. Rand Paul [R-KY] is figuring that out ([link removed]) ).
* How many times can Biden’s closest advisors continue to plead the 5th ([link removed]) without consequence?

** “Russiagate” Retrospective
------------------------------------------------------------

DNI Tulsi Gabbard released a trove of documents ([link removed]) asserting the “Russian Collusion” “scandal,” which dominated nationwide discourse for years and in part derailed the political agenda of the first Trump Administration, was the brain child of then-outgoing President Obama and his allies. Siri–did Barack Obama’s Secretary of State have beef with President Trump during the 2016 campaign cycle?

Gabbard has announced additional Obama-era whistleblowers are coming out of the woodwork to contextualize the extent the Obama/Clinton manufactured “Russia, Russia, Russia” narrative was illegally procured and disseminated. ~9 years ago Hillary Clinton infamously asked us to “PokemonGo to the polls.” Here’s hoping she PokemonGoes goes to jail.

** Slash and Burn: Agencies and Alien Assistance
------------------------------------------------------------

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump Administration, greenlighting the White House’s ability to lay off 1,400 Department of Education Employees. Additional staffing cuts are anticipated as the agency ultimately shutters. DOE employees either laid off or on the chopping block can rant on social media all they want, but thanks to their “work” only ~28% of K-12 American kids are literate enough to read and comprehend their ranting resignations.

The State Department, under the directive of Sec. Marco Rubio, also laid off ~3k federal bureaucrats. The agency had become so bloated and redundant that prior to Rubio’s tenure the State Department didn’t even know how many people worked there ([link removed]) .

Lastly, with the budget reconciliation package now in effect, illegal aliens are being cut from receiving taxpayer funded benefits. Democrats have parroted ad nauseum that the BBB will slash safety net programs for vulnerable Americans (a patently false claim; see here ([link removed]) for receipts). In application, it bars aliens from having their grocery bills paid for by law-abiding citizens, a phenomenon Congressional Democrats assured us wasn’t happening in the first place, but will admit to on national television ([link removed]) in Freudian slips. The tongue in cheek cyclical flow chart ([link removed]) remains undefeated.

** In Other News
------------------------------------------------------------

* You might have been wrongfully informed that House Republicans voted against releasing documents pertaining to prolific pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. That is a disgusting, politically motivated mischaracterization ([link removed]) .
* Congressional Republicans also finalized a budget recissions package this week, which cut funding to PBS and NPR. A reminder as to why that was completely justified. ([link removed])
* “Gender affirming” hospitals will no longer be allowed to mutilate children if they want federal funding ([link removed]) .
* It was recently revealed the Biden Administration dropped the ball with national security to the point it made the Chinese spy balloon incident look like nothing ([link removed]) .
* California is so rife with illegal aliens their public schools are invoking pandemic protocols ([link removed]) to dodge ICE.
* On the note of California, their sitting Junior Senator has been criminally referred to the DOJ ([link removed]) for mortgage fraud. My eyes would be bugging out too if I’d committed housing crimes.
* Congressional insider training is illegal and unethical–regardless of party ([link removed]) Rep. Taylor Greene [R-GA-14].
* Seattle logic: “Tax the rich!” “Why doesn’t anybody want to do business here ([link removed]) ?”
* A liberal Colorado DA released a guy who looks like patient-zero in a zombie movie ([link removed]) back into the public (he tried abducting an 11-year old but was deemed “mentally unfit” to stand trial). She’s rightfully facing a recall vote.
